About Us

Jesus House Baltimore (JHB) Hope Foundation is a JHB Global Outreach Ministry that seeks to share an unprecedented message of love, compassion and hope to the less privileged. Our mandate is to show God’s love by helping those in urgent need of basic life necessities such as clean water, food, healthcare, good education and others.

We are a 501 (c) (3) faith based non-profit organization and we partner with both local and international community members including churches and government agencies. Our headquarters is located in Baltimore Maryland.

Mission:

Our mission is to strategically identify the needs of poverty-stricken populations within different geographical regions and implement humanitarian projects that will positively impact the lives of those in the regions while encouraging self-sufficiency and sustainability.

Vision:

Our vision is to restore hope and impact the world positively with the love of God by giving a helping hand to all people around the world who are in urgent need of care and attention. We believe in following the mandate by Jesus Christ that we should feed the hungry, clothe the poor, and  be hospitable to them regardless of their backgrounds (Matthew 25:35-40). Through our work, we believe that we will add value to the lives of those we help and inspire them to achieve their God-given purpose in life.

We work according to God’s promises for our lives and in conjunction with the mission of JHB Church of bringing people to the realization of their God-given dreams and potentials, and teaching people the word of God with integrity. We pursue a variety of relief activities in identified geographic regions around the world with urgent challenges due to extreme poverty. These activities include but not limited to the following focus areas;

• Providing  Access to  Clean Water
• Providing Access to quality Health care and/or Resources
• Providing Access  to quality Education
• Initiating or Supplementing Feeding Program

What we do

Extreme Poverty Alleviation:

We strive to help poor and disadvantaged people from extremely poor rural conditions in developing countries by providing them with tools to overcome poverty, to succeed and to sustain a productive life. We also focus on avenues to imbibe self-improvement and sustainability by supporting job creation such as Agro-entrepreneurships and others.

1.  Providing Wells or Bore Holes to ensure availability of Clean Water:

JHB Hope Foundation will facilitate digging of Wells or Bore Holes in strategic places in identified cities to provide access to clean water supply. We will also work with Water Mission International, local vendors and others.

2. Ensuring HealthCare Access / Resources & Security

We will reach out to the poor and most vulnerable people with diseases such as HIV/AIDS. In addition we will also help those afflicted with some curable diseases resulting from poor hygiene, lack of vaccinations, and malnutrition. .

3. Providing access to quality Education

Most people in some areas of the developing countries cannot afford proper education.  They are challenged with making payments for school tuitions, fees and school supplies. As a result, they are highly dependent on unreliable government subsidies. JHB Hope Foundation seeks to assist in the areas of providing school supplies and granting scholarships to support and enable better access to education.  

In addition, JHB Hope Foundation will partner with other churches to use education as an innovative solution to alleviate poverty.

4. Initiating and Sustaining Feeding Programs

JHB Hope foundation seeks to provide food relief to the hungry and homeless in rural areas. Currently we are supporting an orphanage in Liberia and we hope to extend our efforts to other regions in the near future.
